Mystery BOM, Block 1

Cutting Instructions:

          Sub-cut into one 6" square
          Sub-cut into six 2 1/2"   squares

From Fabric B, cut one 2 1/2" strip
          Sub-cut into two 2 1/2" squares

From Fabric C, cut into one 6" strip
          Sub-cut into one 6" square
          Sub-cut into twenty 2 1/2" squares

Place the 6" fabric A and fabric C square, on top of each other RST. Draw an "X" from corner to corner, and stitch a 1/4" from the line, on both sides

Cut block in half vertically and horizontally, for a total of four squares. I forgot to take pictures of this step, But I do have a video tutorial of this here. Basically you can make 8 HST's at once! When finished, square up to 2 1/2" if necessary.
Assembly of rows: (see finished block below for orientation of HST's

Row 1: Fabric A square, Fabric C square, HST , HST, Fabric C, Fabric A
Row 2: 6 Fabric C squares
Row 3: HST, Fabric C, Fabric B, Fabric A, Fabric C, HST
Row 4: HST, Fabric C, Fabric A, Fabric B, Fabric C, HST
Row 5: Repeat row 2
Row 6: Repeat row 1

Sew rows together in the order that they were pieced to complete Mystery Block 1.
